Autumn / Winter 2026

A little season of family stories

For October and November I’m opening a limited number of family mini sessions; cosy days at home, autumn walks, pumpkin patches, Christmas tree hunting and everything in between.

What is a mini session?

A no-fuss 30-minute of walking, playing and being yourselves while I capture the little moments between you and your family.

We can stay cosy at home or head outside for a wander somewhere like Delamere Forest. Your session can be completely everyday - a little snapshot of life as it is right now - or we can make it seasonal.

Think pumpkin picking, choosing the Christmas tree, baking cookies, muddy forest walks or decorating the house together.

Nothing stiff. Nothing overly posed. Just half an hour making memories while I quietly photograph them.

The benefits of a mini session

Photos that don't live on your phone

You'll receive your photo's digitally, but I don't want them disappearing into your camera roll forever, so I'll print them for you too. You'll receive up to 40 beautiful 6x4" prints to hold, frame, stick on the fridge or keep in a box for years to come.

If not now, then when?

Since having my own little one, I’ve realised more than ever just how ridiculously quickly it all changes. One minute they’re tiny and the next they’re crawling, talking and starting school.

The phone photos matter too (I have thousands of them) but there’s something different about having a photograph properly taken, printed and held in your hands.

You don’t need a milestone or a special occasion. Life as it looks right now is reason enough.

30 minutes. That's it.

No dragging the kids through a two-hour photoshoot. No expectation that everyone behaves perfectly. Give me half an hour and we’ll work with whatever your little ones give us that day.

FAQ

How far in advance should I book?

I'm only opening these sessions for a limited time this autumn and winter. During the summer months I'm photographing weddings but I've decided to use this year's downtime to capture family moments which I know to be so important since having my own little babe. As soon as you know you'd like to book, I'd get in touch and secure your date.

How many final images can I expect to receive?

This is solely dependent on how the session goes. I'll be completely baby/child led. Some children take longer to warm to the camera than others but I'll do my best to get as many as we can during the time.

How does the booking process work from start to finish?

Complete the above enquiry form and I'll get back to you within 24 hours. We will arrange a date and time which will be secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit (£50). When you're booked in, I'll send over a digital file with details on how to get the most out of your shoot.

After the session, I'll send over an online gallery link and password within one week of the shoot. Your prints will then arrive through your door at some point during the last week of November.

How can I pay?

Payment will be taken via bank transfer. The deposit will be taken to secure your date and time and then your balance will be due the day before the session. If the balance payment is not made, I'll assume you no longer want to go ahead with the shoot. I'll be in touch two days before to remind you so you don't have to remember.
